Australian Centre for Lifestyle Horticulture Research and Development Strategy 2008

This plan identifies the key research, industry development and extension objectives of the ACLH collaboration.  In identifying the key objectives, ACLH will be able to focus effort and investment in areas that, wherever possible, will support and benefit the entire industry to raise its profile, remain sustainable and increase industry profitability.

Australian Centre for Lifestyle Horticulture Export Strategy 2008

The export strategy was developed following a workshop of the ACLH Export Subcommittee held on 30 November 2006 and subsequent industry consultation. The subcommittee members identified and prioritised export markets and strategic directions for the industry.

Water Issues   - A Whole of Industry Strategic Position Paper and Action Plan – June 2006

In response to the significant challenges that are arising from the ongoing drought and the
introduction of prescribed water restrictions in South East Queensland and some regional areas of Queensland, the Australian Centre for Lifestyle Horticulture (ACLH) commissioned a one-day ACLH industry member facilitated workshop to capture and document a coordinated response on the current water crisis.

Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries (DPI&F) research and development brochure

DPI&F’s Lifestyle Products and Services Focus Team has strong links with industry bodies and primary producers and is focusing on increasing the profitability of the industry. The Department has experienced scientific and research staff working in research, development and extension in turf, nursery, cut flowers and foliage, soft green landscapes and water use efficiency.
